Indirect evaporative coolers use the natural process of evaporation to cool the air. However, the supply/delivered air never comes into direct contact with water and, therefore, no moisture is added.
The heat from the hot outside air is transferred across the heat exchanger membranes between the dry and wet channels. This means that the air becomes cool but doesn't gain any moisture - this is the major benefit of the Climate Wizard cooler.
